There's a place in the sun

and before my life is done, got to find me a place in the sun.

I've decided to do one of these for myself as well. What the hell, right? Can't hurt. I figure I will come here when I want to bitch, share some exciting new thing I discover, or when I just want to talk about nothing and have someone, anyone, listen.

I'm working on this summer scrapbook and I am halfway done. When I start some kind of creative project, I tend to throw myself into it full force and can't really stop until it is done. Then once completed, I will most likely stay away from scrapbooking for, oh, I don't know, say another 5 months or so. I tend to burn myself out, but that's okay, the end result is something I will be happy with.

My photography is coming along, although I am in need of some classes. I have a few things to learn before I can do anything but take pictures for me to enjoy. BUT I adore my camera! How I love that thing!! I shall post some of my favorite shots I have taken on here, maybe tomorrow.

Now I need to get to bed. I was up figuring this out until 1:30 in the morning yesterday....and now I am sleepy. Plus, there is a new Anthony Bourdain for me to watch! Night-night!
