I went to the park today, after I dropped Cel off at school. It's been awhile since I went to the park just for me. It was nice. There was no one there and usually that would creep me out (I'm paranoid like that!) but today it was just peaceful. The leaves are changing, bright green fading into bold red.

It's my very favorite thing about Fall. I walked out to the island and I enjoyed the quiet. The water was so still, the sun was peeking through the clouds leaving streaks of bright blue sky.
It was a good feeling, my head was clear, my body warm, a cup of coffee in my hand. I wish I had taken my notebook, I could have written, but I doubt this will be the last time I do that!
